Featured: SlingPlayer For Android Is Updated, Finally

After nearly a year and a half, SlingPlayer has finally updated their Android app that brings some cool new features and bug fixes to make their customers a bit happy. The prominent features of the update include Higher Quality viewing for devices running Android 4.0 or higher. The HQ mode was launched almost an year ago but this new update makes it even better on latest Android devices running the latest Android OS.

Another feature includes an electronic program guide that will help the user search for programs and shows that interest them. This makes it simple and easy to use for new users. Users can also set reminders directly from the program guide by long-pressing on a future show and setting up a reminder. This new feature will make it easier for people who always miss their favorite shows because nobody reminds them about it.

Other changes and features include minor updates to the UI and the overall feel of the app. Minor bug fixes that make the app much faster and smoother to use. The earlier reviews to the update have been mixed where some users are very happy while some are still annoyed with certain bugs. However, the new update doesn't bring a change in the price that is till a hefty $29.99. So, If you feel a bit rich then go ahead and buy the app from Google Play.
