We’ve got great news for anyone that has the Motorola Photon Q, Atrix HD, Razr M, Razr i and the Razr HD. It hasn’t been confirmed, but I’m sure the Razr Maxx HD also works with this root app, especially if it follows the similarities between the original Razr and Razr Maxx. A huge thanks goes to Dan Rosenberg @djrbliss on Twitter, as he put together script for us.
The process is pretty standard and straight forward. Simply plug in your device to your Windows PC, install the drivers, run this program, and follow the on screen directions. It’ll take just a few minutes to complete. So far it’s confirmed to work on the Razr M, as you can tell in the picture above, but Dan has also said it should work for the Photon Q, Atrix HD, Razr HD, and Razr i. I’d be willing to guess the Razr Maxx HD is in there too.
We’ve got the download link below for you as well as the XDA support thread. If you’ve got one of these devices, feel free to give it a go and let us know how it works for you.
