Featured: New Galaxy Note 2 Firmware update enables multi-window feature

So earlier this week we told you about a little problem many of our readers in other parts of the world were facing with their Galaxy Note 2. It seems as if some Note 2's were coming with the multi-window feature, and some were not. Due to the fact that they were running two different firmware versions. Well the good friends at Sam Mobile has posted the NL100XXALJ1 firmware version that's available in various regions of the world including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

So far we don't know much about this firmware update, but XDA member irenic has been able to confirm that multi-window feature has been restored in this update. If your Galaxy Note 2 already has the multi-window feature enabled and working correctly, then you probably don't need to update and may not get the update notification. Especially since this looks like an updates specifically to fix that problem.

Have you received firmware NL100XXALJ1 yet? Have you noticed any differences since the update?
