Featured: Jelly Bean Rolling Out to the HTC One X in Asia

October 27, 2012 - Written By Alexander Maxham

You can now add the HTC One X to the list of devices with Jelly Bean. That makes it officially, the Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, Galaxy S3, and now the HTC One X. This morning some lucky One X owners in parts of Asia woke up to an update notification on their device. Behold Android 4.1.1 with Sense 4+. Bringing all the great new features of Jelly Bean to one of HTC’s best devices in 2012, including Google Now, Enhanced Notifications and Project Butter of course.

The update is weighing in at a hefty 350MB, so be sure you’re on Wifi before downloading. The builds are 3.14.709.16 and 2.17.709.7 for Singapore and Taiwan respectively. Now HTC did tell us that the One X and One S would be getting Jelly Bean before the end of October when they announced the One X+. And it looks like the One X is starting to get Jelly Bean 4 days before the end of the month. So up next is the HTC One S.

Any predictions on how long before we see Jelly Bean hitting the AT&T One X(L)? And if you’re in Singapore or Taiwan be sure to go to Settings, select About Phone and check for updates so you can pull down your Jelly Bean update. Once you do, let us know in the comments how you’re liking it.
