Today HTC unveiled a new service for smartphones which is geared to bring deals directly to smartphone owners. Sounds pretty cool right? It'll debut on the HTC One X+ and be available in the UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

Kindle Fire stands up to the iPad Mini's Wrath

As much as we don't like what Amazon is doing with Android, forking it for the Kindle Fire, it's still a great device. Sure it's a window into the Amazon ecosystem, but it is a great ecosystem. But with pricing starting at $199 for the Kindle Fire HD, it would be hard for Apple to surpass the Kindle Fire with their iPad Mini, and they didn't. Big surprise right?
