Kobo Glo and Kobo Mini hits Canadian and UK Shelves, Kobo Arc coming in November

Today Kobo announced that the Kobo Glo and Mini e-readers are now on sale in Canada and the UK for $130 and $80 respectively. The company also stated in their blog that the Kobo Arc will be following those two e-readers to shelves in November. Source

LG Optimus G hitting Rogers for $129.99, Sprint and AT&T for $199

The LG Optimus G is finally making it's way to North America. Today Rogers announced it'll be offering the Optimus G for $129.99 but no release date was given. Sprint will be doing pre-orders for their Optimus G starting on November 1st, and it'll be available in your local Sprint stores starting November 11th. As for AT&T, they will be offering it for $199.99 as well as Sprint, and their's will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow October 16th, and be on store shelves starting November 2nd. Echofon for Android Alpha is here!

Many of you may of never heard of Echofon. But it is a very popular Twitter client for iOS and Mac OS. They also have a newer PC version of their app available. But they've been working on a Android app behind the scenes and have released an Alpha build over the weekend through their Twitter account @echofonbeta. The app got so much attention that they exceeded their download limit. But luckily Droid-Life has uploaded the .apk to Mediafire for you to enjoy it. Source

Verizon's Droid Razr HD Pre-orders land on Costco

The Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD are coming soon to Verizon. Today Costco started doing their own pre-orders. They are offering the Droid Razr HD for $199 on a 2-year contract along with a dock and a battery charger for free along with your order. Source

Verizon Galaxy S3 owners getting OTA Update

Well it's not Jelly Bean. Now that, that is out of the way, Verizon is sending out a new Ice Cream Sandwich OTA for owners with the Galaxy S3. The update is about 62MB in size, and is build I535VRALHE, and you will need to be stock and unrooted to get this OTA. Source

ESPN ScoreCenter App gets Updated to v2.3.2

The very popular ESPN ScoreCenter app just got bumped up to v2.3.2. It also brought along with it DLNA sharing on the Samsung Galaxy S3. As always you can find the ESPN ScoreCenter App in the Play Store. Source

TuneIn Radio Pro gets the Holo Treatment

Today the TuneIn Radio Pro app was also updated to a Holo (Android 4.x style) interface, something I've been hoping more and more apps would do. You can download TuneIn Radio Pro from the Google Play Store. Source
