Featured: Time to Help Get Some Revenge; Bad Piggies are Go!

There's no stopping Rovio and the empire they've created around flinging stuff at other stuff. Whilst the Angry Birds franchise has seen better days, the latest addition to the family of "Angry Birds Space" was well received and a quality game. It added a whole new dynamic to an already successful gameplay mechanic and it sold in droves. Angry Birds Seasons continues to do well too but, I'm starting to suspect that big fans of the series what something truly new. Today, they go out and download that something new from the Play Store with the release of Bad Piggies! The game that puts in the shoes - or hoofs? - of the pigs you've hated so long, to get into the mind of the pig and see it from their perspective. Bad Piggies features physics based gameplay but instead of the same old pull and release I'm sure your fingers are so used to you've got to use your head at least a little bit. You'll be tasked to build contraptions in order to help the piggies escape from the relentless flock of angry squawkers. Combining different things to get together to get a different result is the aim of the game here and it's something that's a fresh change for the series - it's also a lot of fun too! Check out the gameplay trailer below to see more!

Bad Piggies is available here from the Play Store and it's currently free so, grab it whilst you can. There's a lot on offer in this latest game and builds on some of what was introduced in Rovio's earlier game this year, Amazing Alex but, with pigs and that quintessential theme you'll only find in an Angry Birds title like this. What are you waiting for, go rescue some piggies?!
