It seems that in a move to one up all the leaked versions of the trailer that hit the web yesterday, Gameloft has come out and thrown up their official extended trailer for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. If only it were zero hours till I had this game on my nexus 7 tablet. Alas, we’ll have it soon enough and be playing it into the wee morning hours of a wonderful Wednesday, mid-week, where we can shuck off work and claim to be sick just to get in a few more hard-earned and long drawn hours of gametime with this seemingly impressive and action packed game. Watching this trailer for the first time pretty much made me salivate, and dare I say almost drooled on my keyboard. Actually… I did.. then I noticed that I almost posted this up with a bunch of gibberish because of me mashing the keys with my napkin to dry it off. The trailer is that awesome. Don’t judge me; I know I’m not the only one that gets this way over games. Let’s be honest.

With all the excitement surrounding Gamelofts new title this last 24 hours, let’s take a look at where gaming is going. Just this year, so many awesome titles have hit mobile it’s uncanny. Mobile gaming is rapidly closing the  gap between consoles and on the go gaming through tablets and phones. Anybody who argues otherwise is either a naysayer( and shame on you for it!!!) or just hasn’t played that many great mobile titles. Let’s recap on the major hitters, Last Year’s  Shadowgun THD and Modern Combat 3, this year’s N.O.V.A. 3, Dead Trigger, HORN, and still to come Wildblood, another Gameloft heavy hitter. Gaming on mobile is getting better and better and yet again, Gameloft aims to show what is possible with this extended trailer. Take a look at it and see what you think. Will you be picking this up once released? Or waiting for an in-depth review of how the game plays? I myself, will cave for sure and buy it release day. As I do with all major hyped up games. So far I haven’t regretted it. Let’s keep the momentum going!!!!!
