We've gotten word that users on Telus, Rogers and Bell with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 are getting an OTA to Android 4.0 right now. This update was on Roger's upgrade schedule and was scheduled to hit in early September. But I know users won't be upset to get an update earlier than expected right?
The upgrade features Android 4.0.4 which is the last build of Ice Cream Sandwich before the team started work on Jelly Bean, it'll also feature the latest build of Touchwiz. So go ahead and pull down the update by going to Settings > About Tablet > Check for Updates and get yourself some of the at Ice Cream Sandwich goodness on your Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Earlier this month, Samsung began rolling out ICS to the WiFi version of their Galaxy Tab 10.1, and now it looks as if it's time for their 3G siblings to get the update. Now we did hear of some problems with that update, but we are hoping that isn't the case with these ICS updates from Telus, Rogers and Bell.
If you've gotten the upgrade already, let us know how it's running for you. For those of you running custom ROM's, are you going to go back to stock and download this OTA or stay with your custom ROM?
