Featured: HTC One S users in Germany and the Netherlands getting Android 4.0.4 and Sense 4.1 rolled out

Here we go with some more updates to Android 4.0.4, earlier today we heard that Sony was rolling out Android 4.0.4 to a handful of devices this week and in the next few weeks. Now it looks like HTC is rolling out Android 4.0.4 to their One S to Dutch and German users. This new OTA brings Android 4.0.4 and Sense 4.1 plus the usual assortment of bug fixes. The update also comes with a couple new features like the EA Gamebox which we've seen in some recent leaks, and a "remote control unit to repair by HTC" which is probably just a diagnostic tool.

While most of the One S users in Germany and the Netherlands are probably not happy that this isn't the Jelly Bean update they were hoping for, at least you're on the second latest Android build. This should be a step towards getting Jelly Bean on the One S in the near future. We also have no indication on when this OTA update will hit other HTC One S users in the world, but it shouldn't be too much longer we hope. Owners of the HTC One X have already received this update a few weeks ago, and the update was staggered throughout the world.

So for those of you who got the update, what do you think? Any speed improvements, better battery life, etc? Or do you just notice more bloatware on your device? Let us know in the comments.
