How It Works: The app is easy to use and simple to grasp, all you have to do first is create an account either through the app or on their website here; after this you’re greeted with a menu laid out in a grid with all the features of the app. You can see below the layout of everything the app has to offer.
Where you’ll be spending most of your time however, is in a few of these options. You’ll be spending a lot of time in the upload, scan and find portions of the app. These will let you upload a warranty and its details, scan or input a code from a Warranty Hotel partner’s receipt and finally, find all the warranties you have in there.
Adding a warranty is really quite easy, from the main menu simply click the upload icon and begin typing. There are input fields for the product’s name, where you bought it from as well as when the warranty begins and ends. With the points system coming to the US before the end of the year – bring with it the ability to call repair centers and more – the app is just going to get better and better.

Conclusion: I’ve really enjoyed my time with Warranty Hotel and it’s certainly going to be something that I see myself using a lot more. With the amount of electricals and particularly tech that people buy today, warranties are more important than ever. With this app and the accompanying service you can rest assure that you’ll never be caught short when it comes to a claim again.
