Featured: Angry Birds Space: Red Planet coming this Fall

Often times when you ask someone what their favorite mobile game is on Android or even iOS, the answer is Angry Birds. Rovio Mobile has created a huge hit with Angry Birds and it looks they are not slowing down anytime soon. We already have the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, and Angry Birds Space. Now are angry little friends are off to Mars, in their new update to the Angry Birds series, Angry Birds Space: Red Planet. Rovio has said that the game will release this fall, so it's time get our Android devices ready for the next iteration of Angry Birds. I know I'm looking forward to playing it on my Nexus 7.

There's not a whole lot of changes to the storyline in this update, but there are a few new characters as well as a new scenery of course since they are on Mars. You almost have to wonder if NASA was working with Rovio to market their next Angry Birds game, since NASA successfully landed on Mars early this morning. Did our favorite Angry Birds join the Astronauts on Mars Rover to head to Mars this past weekend?  Anyways, the birds have travelled over 352 million miles to Mars to give us hundreds more hours of pure fun on our favorite device.

Rovio isn't just focused on the Angry Birds franchise, as they have released a new game called Amazing Alex not too long ago. But we don't think it's' as popular as Angry Birds has been. Yet Angry Birds has been around for a couple years longer than Amazing Alex has.

No release date or pricing was revealed for Angry Birds Space: Red Planet, but you can figure the price will be around $0.99-$2.99 for the full version. But we can't wait to fling some Angry Birds on Mars, we'll keep you updated with all the latest on a release date and pricing as soon as we find out. Who's tired of hearing about new updates for the Angry Birds franchise? Who's ready for Rovio to move onto something newer and better?
