Featured: Casio Reveals Two Rugged Android Tablets Designed For Business Users and Outdoor Enthusiasts

Casio has announced a pair of Android tablets today designed for business users who regularly find themselves in the field. Namely Casio V-T500-GE and V-T500-E, both tablets are built around the idea of keeping things tough and smart. Both tablets can withstand drops because of the shock-resistant designs and come with IP54 standards to guard against dust and splashes.

We are not sure about the difference between both tablets except for the obvious “G” in one’s name. Both tablets come packed with a powerful 1.5GHz TI OMAP4460 dual core processor, NFC capabilities, Android 4.0 ICS, 10.1″ display with LED backlight, neck strap and hand belts for holding the tablet. Both tablets are encased in rubber shell to give them a more sturdy and rugged feel.

Casio is known for making one of the finest rugged watches in the world, so these tablets will definitely live up to the expectations. There are still no words on the pricing and availability of the tablets. So, stay tuned for more information as soon as we get it.
