The Samsung Galaxy S3 accomplished something we never thought would happen. Samsung launched the device internationally and on 5 of the major US carriers in just 6 weeks. Samsung was also able to keep the exact same device for each carrier, unlike with the Galaxy S and S2 in previous years.
But AT&T still wanted to do things a bit different. While the rest of the world had 32GB versions of the Galaxy S3 available, AT&T customers had to settle for a 16GB version. But they could also choose from the white, blue and red. The Garnet Red color is exclusive to AT&T and just launched today, and pre-orders started over a week ago.
Now this red AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3 still has all the great specs of it's brothers over on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular, including the 2GB RAM, the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and the gorgeous 4.8" display. Now this color is only available in the 16GB version as I mentioned above, but it does have a SD card slot unlike the Nexus line of devices.
I actually really like the red color, and if I was an AT&T customer I would definitely pick it up, but what do you think? Do you like the Garnet Red color on the beautiful Galaxy S3? This almost makes you wonder if Sprint and T-Mobile will get exclusives for the Galaxy S3, because we already know that Verizon will have a developer version of the device which you will be able to unlock the bootloader on, with the Verizon Galaxy S3 currently the bootloader is not unlockable.
