You know how the saying goes, when it rains it pours and, boy has it started raining! Bearly a few minutes into the keynote and the full details on the Nexus 7 have fallen from the heavens!

The tablet is confirmed to come with a 1280×800 IPS display, a 1.2MP front-facing camera, the Tegra 3 chip is onboard and it packs a whopping 4325 maH battery which will last you all day if not more. Alongside all this, Jelly Bean has bean confirmed to come with the device, just in case none of you had realised that, yet.

Unfortunately, and annoyingly for people like myself, the device is going to be US-only, at least at launch anyway. It appears that Google will also be providing a cover for the tablet as well. We'll have videos as soon as we can get our hands on them, we're working on it, trust us.

For years now I've had a heavy interest in technology, growing up with 8-bit computers and gaming consoles has fed into an addiction to everything that beeps. Android saved me from the boredom of iOS years ago and I love watching the platform grow. As an avid reader and writer nothing pleases me more than to write about the exciting world of Android, Google and mobile technology as a whole.
