Xobni for Android and Gmail (Smartr)

I have been playing with Xobni for a few months now, Xobni aka smartr for GMail. Smartr as I will now be calling it is a social search type program that links into Gmail and as of a few weeks ago... it is available for Android too. I have been messing around with a beta version, or maybe even what some may call Alpha.

LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter are all in there! The app has come quite a way as well, it used to not be as good but it worked. Over the months it has come a ways and now it is quite usable. The app is nice on both platforms and looks similar. It integrates via a the Xobni website.

I am a fan in regards to the updates, it lets me know what my friends are doing on many social networks without ever signing in. I feel that if they want to make it a true success it should be in the framework of android, but the app, is very nice and is kind of hub for many things social.

I would definitely give it a shot, no matter what else you use, this is a pretty good app and keeps you up to date with what is going on.

I have had many different phones over the years and rooted them all. I write mainly write reviews about phones for the site but at times I also write about apps. I became interested in Android after the Droid 1 came out but have since used the G1, Evo 4g, and Nexus S as my own. I was one of the lucky few who bought a touchpad as well, it is now running android.
