More Evidence of the LG Optimus Pad for Rogers

As we previously reported on April 20th, the LG Optimus Pad is heading to Rogers in Canada. AndroidCentral has that new image that they say is an early look at Rogers sales material for the new tablet. This rumor doesn't do anything to confirm the May 10th release date, nor does it reveal any pricing information, but it adds fuel to the fire.

The LG Optimus Pad is a very nicely spec'd Honeycomb tablet. From our first report:

  • OS: Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)
  • Display: 8.9 inch touch-screen 3D-capable 1280 x 768
  • CPU: 1 GHz + (Dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor)
  • Memory, internal, 32 GB
  • Front-facing camera
  • Thin, probably an inch in width or less
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G support
  • GPS
  • Battery 6,400 mAh

I'm a 40 something early adopter of all things technology. I was first in line to buy both my original Verizon Droid and my Apple iPad 1. I don't hate your phone or tablet choice, but I've probably got an opinion about it. Aside from my family, the only things that I love more than a new gadget are fly fishing and going to the ballpark. Ocassionaly I find a way to blog about both. Though I'm only one more Foxconn story away from being fired, I've been writing for Android Headlines since March 2011.
