May 10th is the date that Rogers will yet release a new Android to their lineup. This time it is the entry-mid level LG Phoenix. This phone is very similar in design and specs with the Telus/Koodo LG Optimus One, and the Telus Optimus 3G.
The phone packs in with entry-level specs such as a 3.2-inch capactive multi-touch screen. A 3.2 megapixel camera. The phone can create a WiFi hotspot for 5 devices. The processor is clocked in at 600 MHZ. Not to mention, it comes with Android OS 2.2 (Froyo), but no details have been given if it will be updated to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or Android 2.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The Phoenix will be on Rogers' lineup on May 10th. The range for the 3-year contract is at $29.99, but it is safe to assume that it will get to $o pretty soon. The device will sell for $249.99 with no-contract.
