Launch Date and Full Price Details for LG Optimus Pad heading to Rogers

This one has been rumored for a few weeks now and we've covered those rumors here as well as here. Today, the Canadian focused blog mobilesyrup.com has managed to get their hands on the product launch flyer for the .

It will go on sale on May 17th and the price will range from $449 on a three-year contract all the way up to $699 full retail. I'm not sure what Rogers data plans or caps look like, but I'd rather pay full freight than be tied to a three-year contract on this device.

The LG Optimus Pad is a very nicely spec'd Honeycomb tablet. From our first report:

  • OS: Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)
  • Display: 8.9 inch touch-screen 3D-capable 1280 x 768
  • CPU: 1 GHz + (Dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor)
  • Memory, internal, 32 GB

  • Thin, probably an inch in width or less
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G support
  • GPS
  • Battery 6,400 mAh

I'm a 40 something early adopter of all things technology. I was first in line to buy both my original Verizon Droid and my Apple iPad 1. I don't hate your phone or tablet choice, but I've probably got an opinion about it. Aside from my family, the only things that I love more than a new gadget are fly fishing and going to the ballpark. Ocassionaly I find a way to blog about both. Though I'm only one more Foxconn story away from being fired, I've been writing for Android Headlines since March 2011.
