The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an oldie but goodie. If anyone was holding out on buying a tablet, now might finally be the time to pick one up. Beginning on April 10th the Galaxy Tab will be on sale for $349.99. Again, this is the Wi-Fi only edition, but honestly in my opinion that is really all anyone would ever need. Nothing besides the price has changed on this device. You are still looking at a 7-inch screen, 1024 x 600 resolution running Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) while shooting with a 3 megapixel camera in rear and a 1.3 megapixel on the front. It also comes with an internal storage capacity of 32 GB and is toting Adobe Flash Player 10.1.
This really was a pretty nice device. It may not compete with the Motorola Xoom, but the price sounds right to me. Is there a tablet you’re waiting for the price to drop on? Will the new price of the Galaxy Tab send you to the store to pick one up? Let us know.
Below you will find the press release from Samsung.
