Samsung Says Galaxy S II Will Launch in April
Those who have been awaiting the release of the successor to the very popular Samsung Galaxy S have been concerned by talk of the delay of its release until the summer. But Samsung themselves, on their Facebook page, has allayed these fears with an announcement concerning the Galaxy S II:
“We know that lots of you have been asking about the launch date of the Samsung GALAXY S II. It will be released in April and then gradually rolled out in each market according to the local launch timetable.
We will provide more details via this fan page once they become available.”
No more specifics as to the timetable have been released, other than an official UK release date of May 1 for the Gingerbread-armed Galaxy S II.
