ZAP! Samsung DROID Charge Will Cost You $299: On Contract!
While the Samsung Droid Charge has been pretty well known for a while now, we all secretly hoped that the leaked price was the part of the leak that wasn’t true. Starting April 28th you can pick up Verizon’s first DROID-branded LTE phone, the Samsung DROID Charge for $299 on two-year contract (not that they have any other contracts anymore). While that amount is much higher than we’ve grown accustomed to, the specs actually help justify the cost. Check out some of these specs.
Samsung DROID Charge Specs
- 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen
- 8 MP rear camera
- 1.3 MP front-facing camera
- LTE connectivity
- 5-10 device hotspot capabilities
- 1 GHz processor
So it is one beast of a phone. Keep in mind the HTC Thunderbolt debuted at $249, so these prices could become the norm with their new network. With the amount of phones coming out this year, it will probably NEVER feel like the right time to upgrade, but if you decide to go with the CHARGE, you’ll be getting a pretty impressive piece of tech. Check out the official press release below. Is this the phone for you? let us know in the comments.
