Google Talk With Video Being Introduced At I/O?

Yes read and rejoice. Looks like if this tweeter (who apparently works for Samsung) is to be believed that Google's I/O conference will yield at least one feature, Video Calling through Google Talk, something only currently enjoyed by Honeycomb tablet users.

Of course the above Tweet says Gmail and not Gtalk but you do need a Gmail account to use Gtalk so we are going to assume that is what she meant. Plus it would be ridiculous to have video calling in Gmail for Gingerbread and in Gtalk for Honeycomb.

The other interesting bit is that Gingerbread 2.3.4 is included in the tweet. No Ice Cream or mention of anything 3.1. This could indicate that if rumours about Honeycomb 3.1 being released are true that we could possibly see a small number of releases in the phone and tablet space in order to make the transition to Ice Cream less jarring. Either way we wont have to wonder much longer as Google I/O is nearly upon us!
