Where to get that Motorola XOOM for Less

Rumors have been rocking all over the internet for the past few weeks about the Wi-fi-only version of the Motorola Xoom. No one knew when or where it would first drop — but it looks like we may have an answer now.

Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi-only at Sam’s Club

Cardboard placeholders for the Wi-fi-only, Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb) sporting monster were spotted at a Sam’s Club store at the lower-than-expected price of $539! Just two weeks ago, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha stated that the Wi-fi-only Xoom would come in at $599, so this comes as a pleasant surprise.

On a similar note, Sam’s main competitor, Costco, have teased the contract version of the Xoom in a similar fashion. One thing that you will notice, though, is the price. You’ll be able to score one for as low as $589.99 on contract, making it the lowest price that we’ve seen thus far.

How much for Motorola Xoom at Costco?

To get that low price, you’ll need to sign a two-year contract with either the 5 GB or 10 GB package, coming in at $50 or $80 per month, respectively. If you’re not looking for that much data (or that much money) then you can get it for $639.99 along with a two-year contract with the 1 GB or 3 GB package, which are only $20 or $35 per month. Even if you don’t want to sign a contact, this still looks to be the best deal out there with a non-contract price of $789.99.

Let us know if you were able to find a Motorola Xoom at a low price!
