Like to keep up to date on your friends latest happenings? Like to upload and tag all your photos in the blink of an eye? Love checking into every place you go? Well then it could be your lucky day. The (unofficial) Facebook phone you always dreamed of is here.
Today Carphone Warehouse put up the INQ Cloud Touch for pre-order highlighting its deep Facebook integration as the main selling point. In white and red colours the phone sells for £299.95 sim-free (currently marked as in stock), £199.95 on a pre-pay deal, or on contract the phone is free on all options which start at £20/month. The release date is marked as the 28th of March.
Why Should I?
As noted the phone has deep Facebook integration. With the ability to pull all kinds of information and present it all on a series of widgets on your homepage it makes a great phone for anyone who feels their current phone doesn't have enough 'Facebook factor' at the moment. Is it excessive? Who knows until someone gets a proper hands-on. Is there a market for them? Certainly. It's no monster in terms of specs with a 480 x 320 3.5in touchscreen, Qualcomn 600 MHz processor and 5 mp camera, but lets admit it, you wont be buying this phone to play Dungeon Defenders or anything else power intensive.
Will you be buying? Or is HTC's Facebook phone offerings more tempting?
