HTC ThunderBolt $299 per Best Buy's Buyer's Guide

Here we go again, another hill to what seems to be a never-ending roller coaster for the HTC ThunderBolt.  Best Buy's Buyer's Guide listed another price that we first assumed, but were hoping would not be true.  This price is $299 for a two year contract.  Who knows with Best Buy.  Their "price" of $249 could have been the total price after the $50 pre-order.  It could just be another typo by Best Buy or it could be Best Buy's normal price.  I certainly hope this isn't the case.

As usual Verizon hasn't come out and said what their price is nor have they actually given a release date yet.  We keep hearing the same rumors between the 24th and the 28th.  Also what the phone will have and what it might not.  I really hope Verizon announces their plans this week.  It would officially put all of this nonsense to rest.

I personally believe Verizon hasn't announced anything yet because they want to get it right the first time.  At CES last month Verizon said their 4G phones would be released within the first six months of this year and that we should see the very first phone by March.  So as of right now we are still on schedule.  However, I believe the rumors to be true about the late timeline for February.  But based on how Verizon runs their tight ship they will make sure everything is up to par before they put out a device that isn't ready.

Even with your pre-order are you willing to pay 300 bucks for this phone?  I am, but I wouldn't be very happy about it.  Let's just wait and see what Verizon has to say, and hopefully their price is $249 and hopefully they announce it soon.  Tell us your thought on the rumors and pricing.
