January 17, 2011 - Written By Chris Yackulic

Thrillist is an app that actually makes recommendations for eating out, clubbing, shopping and much, much more. Searching, sorting, and sharing articles, organized by the nearest, newest, or most popular has been available for iPhone users for some time, but now Thrillist comes to Android.

Once an account is set up and you’re logged in to Thrillist, it’s easy to save articles to ‘My Thrillist’, which is automatically synced with your account on Share tools with Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and your email. There’s weekly video clips as well as some cool mini games combined into this app.

Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C. are the cities currently included in Thrillist, and soon to come is Denver, Detroit, Minneapolis, Portland and Thrillist Nation. Thrillist is a free download from the Android Market, so just zap the QR Code below with your handset to give it a whirl.

If you haven’t previously heard of Thrillist, its a popular men’s lifestyle brand touching more than 2.3 million email subscribers daily, and millions of web and mobile readers.  If you’re on your device now, search for it in the Market, or directly from AppBrain.
