New Samsung Device Hits FCC; Possible Nexus S successor w/ Android 2.4

A recent filing with the FCC seems to have stirred up quite a few rumors for Samsung. The device filed, model GT-i9023 with T-Mobile band AWS 3G, was passed and has landed in the hands of conspiracy theorists who think it looks alot like the Nexus S, which came with the model number GT-i9020.

Just to add to the speculation of what this new device could be, German site BestBoyZ has released a new video of what's said to be a Nexus S running Android 2.4 OS, with the baseband version being the recently filed i9023. Another story has the new Samsung device showing up in listings by European retailers as a "Black Silver" Nexus S model. Of course all the FCC business wouldn't just be for a new color choice, so wha'ts the big deal?

Maybe we'll be seeing more about this soon, until then, your guess is as good as mine. You can check out the video below (in German).
