LG Optimus 2X Quandrant Benchmark Blows the Competition Away!

Techblog.gr has gotten their hands on the LG Optimus 2X, also known as the "Star," and put it to the test with a good ol' fashioned Quadrant benchmarking. It's scored 2391, decimating the competition.  The unique thing of this score however is that Quadrant isn't able to fully function with dual core devices and as such has only recognized the device as having a single core. This obviously leads us to question what the geniune score is for the Optimus 2X, and whether it will differ much from its current 2319 score.

Known as the world's first Tegra 2 smart super phone, it sports the following:

  • 1 GHz Dual-core Processor (NVIDIA Tegra 2)
  • 4 inch WVGA screen
  • Android 2.2 (Froyo), upgradeable to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
  • 8 GB memory (up to 32 GB via microSD)
  • 1,500 mAh battery
  • 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front camera
  • HDMI mirroring
  • 1080p MPEG-4/H.264 playback and recording
