LG Optimus 2x, Optimus Black Considered by Canadian Carriers

Frank Lee, the Senior Manager of Public Relations for LG Canada, said that the LG Optimus 2x and LG Optimus Black are global devices.   On display at CES, the word from the press releases are that the "Optimus Black will be rolled out globally in the first half of 2011,″ and the LG Optimus 2X will be soon first in Korea then in Europe and Asia to follow.

He also said "The LG Optimus Black and LG Optimus 2X are currently being reviewed by Canadian carriers but regarding if and when they will be released in Canada there are no specific dates," which can be interpreted as they are being internally tested by carriers in Canada. This means that soon those unknown carriers would reveal themselves and announce the availability of the phones.

As always, we'll let you know as soon as they do.
