With so many Android devices heading our way it’s easy for some to slip between the cracks, as is the case for the Dell Looking Glass which hasn’t been heard from in quite a while. According to source TheWired, a “Dell Looking Glass” filing was just approved by the GCF(Global Certification Forum), and will support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as quadband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 850/1700/1900/2100 MHz.
Other specs for the 7-inch device are scattered, but it will have a 7-inch screen, a rumored NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, an unspecified Android OS(the picture above is a forward-thinking Honeycomb mock-up), Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0. It’s a nice sign of life for the device, but still no release date or announcement of any kind. The Dell Streak 7 is getting plenty of attention right now, not good for the Looking Glass, which will probably be taking a back seat again.
