Most every techie knows that CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2011 is right around the corner, starting January 6th. The show comes with a year's worth of previews and must-haves from over 2,500 technology companies, with most insiders expecting the tablet to become the major draw this time around. With the kick-off of CES next week, there are already plenty of rumors on the web about what exactly will show up, the latest being the next incarnation of the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The Galaxy Tab has only been on the market for a couple months, but has made a huge dent in the overall tablet market selling upwards of 1.2 million devices this year. Wanting to keep the momentum of such a hit, it's not that unbelieveable for Samsung to want to push forward against its tablet competitors like Apple. With its success, Samsung could be jumping the gun to introduce a brand new model so soon.
It's probably more likely that they are planning on expanding the options of the Galaxy Tab line with maybe a larger screen size, improved features, etc. Whatever the case might be, we're only a week away, and I'm sure Samsung along with everyone else, will be bringing plenty of tech greatness to the table.
