During the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference held on December 6, 2010.  Roger D. Linquist, CEO of MetroPCS announced that they have plans to launch new LTE smartphones throughout the first half of 2010.  He also reassured that one of these phones is Android-enabled and is likely to be out in Q1 of the year.

Along with this announcement they will also introduce VoLTE(Voice-over-LTE), which allows calls over Metro's high-speed data network for more crisp and clear calls.  More information as soon as we get them.
