Gingerbread Coming out of the Oven to Nexus One

Nexus One owner, it's time for you to jump up and down in excitement. The latest Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) is landing. Although, because of hardware limitations (Gyroscope sensor or front facing camera), you won't be getting all the features but the internal features are still there like Wi-Fi calling and NFC support.

Note that this is based on some reports of owners getting Gingerbread. If yours isn't showing an update on the notification bar, you might have to wait a little longer. But don't worry about waiting too long. Knowing the Android community, there will be a manual update soon.
