OK, so is it just me or has Virgin Mobile been stepping it up with a bunch of new higher end phones? I'm sure you all remembered the days were you had to sign a contract in order to grab the latest smartphone and you were stuck with that bulky flip phone if you didn't. Well, those days are over. A couple of prepaid carriers are now offering some of those same high quality devices.
Virgin Mobile is one of those prepaid companies; they first began to offer the Intercept for those who wanted to grab hold of an Android device but didn't want to commit to signing away their life for the next two years. Now, they're taking it even a step further and offering the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, along with the Blackberry Bold 9780, Samsung Galaxy, LG Flick and the LG Sway.
Now, a couple weeks ago those devices showed up on Virgin Mobile's inventory list for the holiday season. Then another document was leaked with upcoming SuperTab and its contract prices as well. However, for whatever reason the Vibrant was MIA even after a brief appearance on Virgin Mobile's inventory list and website. What happened?
Don't look at me; I don't know what happened. Fortunately, though it's been confirmed that the Vibrant will indeed be heading to Virgin Mobile. Problem is there isn't a confirmed release date. Anyway the list below at least confirms both the Blackberry Bold 9780 which launches on the 9 of November, the LG Flick which will drop the 11 of that same month, and last but not least yet another Android device, the Samsung Galaxy 550, will hit the shelves November 15.
