Samsung Stealth V Coming Soon?

A new Android 2.2 phone from Samsung has just leaked from the FCC's DLNA certification documents. It looks like Samsung is getting ready to unleash their first 4.3" WVGA phone (800x480 resolution) with a 8 MP camera.

I think it's great that Samsung is making the transition to 4.3" phones, because I think it's the perfect size for a modern web-enabled smartphone these days. No point carrying a smaller one with you, with a 4.3" model fits just as well in your pants, and it's not much larger overall, although the screen size difference is significant.

What I'm a little disappointed by is the WVGA resolution. By now I'd like to see higher resolutions in Android phones, but I suppose the 1280x800 one that's coming to tablets won't be here until Honeycomb, and I kind of wish they just skip the 1024x600 one, since there isn't much point in having yet another intermediary resolution.

The phone is rumored to come to Verizon's network, in case you were wondering if you should save up money for it or not.
