We're all waiting for Nexus S but until now we didn't know much about what specs it's going to have, which aside from the fact that it's going to be the first Android phone with stock Gingerbread, it should also have some great specs to match it, and perhaps even set a new standard in the mobile market, just like the first Nexus phone did.
If the rumors are true, then the Nexus S won't disappoint:
- Dual Core Orion 1GHz CortexA9
- Open GL ES Supported
- 512 (Not 100% known)
- 1GB or 2GB Internal Memory (Not 100% known)
- 800—480 Screen Resolution
- 4" Screen Size
- SuperAmoled 2 (a bit unlikely)
- 720P HD Video recording
It should also come with new sensors like a gyroscope, and an NFC sensor. The most exciting thing about it seems to be the dual core Orion which everyone was hoping it would have. We're going to see some interesting benchmarks between the Orion phones and Tegra 2 phones early next year, I bet.
