You may have noticed that LG hasn't been playing it big in the Android market. But this is about to change in 2011, with them announcing that they will release a few powerful phones from the company. This, the LU3000, is the start of it and it is truly a powerful phone to kick it off!
This device will rock a 3.8-inch IPS display that can deliver a WVGA (800 x 480) resolution, 5 MP camera with flash that can capture video at 1080p, and an HDMI port, all running on Froyo (Android 2.2). It is being advertised that it is much faster than the Samsung Galaxy S and the iPhone 4 with its OMAP 3630 1 GHz processor. Other specs have yet to be unveiled.
On the other hand, this has been announced to be a "for Korea" phone only. No information has been given if LG will release a similar model outside of Korea.
