Lenovo LePad destined for US next year

Not afraid of a fight with big time tablet makers Apple (iPad), RIM (Blackberry Playbook) and Samsung (Galaxy Tab), China-based Lenovo Group's Chief Executive Yang Yuanqinq has expressed plans to launch the Android based tablet/keyboard combo in the US market next year. This decision came after Lenovo showed off their fancy Android UI to an impressed American audience.

This product should certainly appeal to you business folk out there and even for the rest of us this hardware keyboard and tablet package makes all kinds of sense not to mention the lovely little package it looks like it comes in. Now some might say that there are too many tablets on their way but hey... ain't that a good thing? My bet is that this will do good things for the tablet market.

What do you think? Are you excited for a tablet release from Lenovo?
