Dell's main mobile man is on his way out

Ron Garriques, the man behind Dell's Streak and Aero launches which were both fairly unsuccessful has been let go from the computer giant. With a reported 1.4 million dollar severance package and additional 3.15 million consultancy agreement he isn't exactly being left in the lurch.

Ron came across to Dell from Motorola's mobile phone unit in 2007 asĀ  fairly high-profile addition to the company. Unfortunately Dell has just not managed to launch a mobile product that has enjoyed great success. so this is what they had to do I guess, maybe now with a reshuffle Dell might start pushing some really fantastic products through.

Whats is your opinion on Dell's Android based products so far?
