Sony Ericsson continues to ignore the fact that Android 2.x exists and for some unknown reason continues to product "new" devices running Android 1.6. This certainly is not going to earn the company any sort of edge in the Android world.
The Xperia X8 is packing a 3-inch screen and could possibly be the most affordable handset with the rumored cost just under $300 for the unlocked version. Don't let the price fool you, you are getting what you pay for with a 600MHz processor and a 3.2MP (fixed focus) camera. As if you didn't see it coming, the X8 is rumored to be updated to Android 2.1 "a little later" than the X10 devices.
If you actually would like to give this device a second look, I've included a video of the device.
