Samsung Galaxy Tab is hitting UK shelves from November 1.

If you have been living under a rock then you may not know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab which is unfortunate because this is a bit of tech that is very drool worthy. Samsung UK have just announced via a press release that this Galactic tablet will be hitting the lucky shelves of UK stores on the 1st of November this year.

Exact pricing is unknown as yet but what is for sure is that from the 1st of November, the UK and the major carriers over there are going to be rocking the coolest Android 2.2 tablet on the market and also one of the most desirable tablets on the market. Putting the device out through carriers will guarantee  that the device will get wide exposure and also you can assume that there will probably be some subsidy involved as well which will be awesome for the consumers and Samsung alike.

We are sure to hear more announcements from the carriers and Samsung as the launch will begin to ramp up in the following weeks. The tablet has been hyped up quite a lot over the past few months and it's shaping up to be a pretty great device.

Even though the tablet is being released with the latest Android has to offer with version 2.2 the device will probably get even better with the oncoming releases of Android such as Gingerbread and Honeycomb which will be putting a bigger focus on large form factor devices such as tablets. I'm excited!!
