Samsung Galaxy S Captivate Arriving on Rogers on October 25th

Due to some manufacturing problems, the Galaxy S Captivate for Rogers has been delayed quite a bit. The delay is finally over though, and it's going to come to Rogers in the next few days. It will launch on October 25th, to be more exact.

The Galaxy S Captivate will sell for a slightly higher price than expected, at $179.99 on a new 3 year contract. Existing Rogers subscribers that are eligible for upgrade, can get the new phone at $149.99 until November 2nd.

The Samsung Galaxy S Captivate comes with a 4" Super AMOLED screen at 800×480 resolution, a 1 Ghz Cortex A8 CPU, a PowerVR SGX 540 GPU (best on the market currently), 5 MP camera (no flash), Wi-Fi, 16 GB of internal storage, and TV-out. This phone comes with Android 2.1 with TouchWiz 3.0 skin on top.

Oh, and if you want you can still get this phone unlocked for only $549.99.
