Hyper Jump (lite) Android Game Review

App Name: Hyper Jump (Lite)

Description: Tilt your phone to help the funny character collect coins, special abilities, and avoid monsters.

How it works: Using the phones accelerometer, tilting the phone will help you navigate the character. For each coin you collect, the character propels upward bringing you closer to passing your previous high score. Each power up you collect gives your character a different ability that will help you. Be careful not to get the "anchor", it will make your character heavier and not allow you jump as high.

Opinion: The game is super addictive and fun to play. I didn't see any kind of lag and the over all app seemed pretty stable. The graphics and animations are fun to watch and I think give it a slight edge to similar games like Papi Jump and Abduction.

Ratings:

  • Speed (4/5) - No lags.
  • Features (4/5) - animations, different abilities.
  • Theme (4/5) - the funny characters make the app stand out.
  • Overall (4/5) - Super addictive, easy to use and understand.

Pros:

Funny characters

Animations

Different abilities

Cons:

Constantly asking to upgrade to the paid version.

You can't change character or stage.

Conclusion: The app brings different features that make it stand out compared to similar games in the Android Market. It's easy to use and highly addictive. The ability to upgrade the app to the paid version to unlock extra features is a big plus.
