HTC Hears the Crowd Releases the Desire Z Source Code

HTC has released the source code for Desire Z. The Desire Z is basically the same phone as T-mobile's G2, so perhaps this can help developers root the G2 faster.

Initially, HTC said that they are allowed to release the source code in 90-120 days after launching the phone, but perhaps now that the Desire Z code is out, the G2 one will follow soon.

And whenever you feel a company has been misbehaving, keep up with the complaining to set them straight. Andy Rubin said himself that it's basically up to the market to set the manufacturers and carriers on the right path, so everyone's responsible for acting/not acting when necessary.
