First Android App to Aggregate Local Daily Deals in One Place

September 30, 2010 – MENLO PARK, CA – The Dealmap(TM) (, the most comprehensive source for consumers to find and share local deals, today announced its mobile application is available to download on Android(TM) Market.  The Dealmap app gives Android users the most comprehensive view of nearby local deals, and is the only app to aggregate daily deals from nearly 100 sources, all in one place.  The launch of The Dealmap's Android app follows the successful introduction of its app for the iPhone, which was named one of Gizmodo's "Apps of the Week" and has been installed by more than 175,000 people in its first six weeks.

"We're excited to extend our mobile footprint to Android-powered devices and to give more people access to great local deals across the U.S.," said Chandu Thota, co-founder and chief technology officer of Center'd.   "Our iPhone app has accelerated The Dealmap's audience growth, and we expect the Android app to continue this positive business momentum."

The Dealmap makes more than 350,000 local deals and coupons available to consumers when and where they want them, through its website, daily emails, and social and mobile applications.  More than 375,000 people receive daily deal updates through the company's email and social media programs.

The only app that aggregates local daily deals, with offers from nearly 100 daily deal sources.
