That didn't take long. Videotron launched their wireless service last Thursday, and the best Android phone in their brand-new lineup was the Google Nexus One. Given that Google stopped selling the phone to consumers (it's now only available to Android developers), more than a few customers were interested. Videotron reports they were out of stock within "hours." Guess $479.95 with no contract or $99.95 with was a great price for the N1.
If you call Videotron customer service, you'll be told the phone is back-ordered. Expect to wait sometime between end of September and October 9th. But head over to read about the N1 on Videotron's site, and there's not a word about availability being a problem.
