Two New Android Phones Show Up In Verizon Inventory

We recently received the above pic showing two new models appearing in the inventory system of Verizon. The Motorola XT610 and the Motorola Citrus (WX445). These two phones fall in the mid to low end spectrum of phones, but they will be sought after none the less. These will best be suited for new Android users.

The Motorola Citrus (WX445) is geared towards the younger crowd. It is more than likely going to be a 3 inch touchscreen and if I were guessing it will ship with Android 2.1  The main draw for this phone is going to be the price point which is listed as “affordable.”

The XT610 on the other hand has been labeled as the younger brother to Droid X. It is said to come with the same 4.3 inch screen size the Droid X has but the processor will be a little slower and the camera will be somewhere in the 3 to 5 megapixel range.  The XT610 is for those consumers looking for a big screen smartphone but do not want to pay for all of the top of the line performance options other phones have. The XT610 will probably be in the $100 – $150 range with a 2 year agreement.

All of this was leaked originally on the Verizon road map we saw recently. There are more in the works, but these two seemed to have made their way into the inventory at Verizon.
