Sony Ericsson Aims to be Top Android Company

Bert Nordberg, CEO of Sony Ericsson, announced today his goal of acheiving top spot in the Android smartphone race. Sony Ericsson currently has a 17% market share in the every growing Android space compared to 23% held by the top rival. Nordberg didn't mention who holds the top spot. The CEO also did not mention how he was going to achieve this lofty goal in the wake of the Motorola Droid X, Samsung Galaxy, and HTC EVO 4G. We really haven't seen anything from Sony Ericsson orther than the Xperia x10. This race is heating up and we should expect to see some nice showmanship from these top competitors.
