Notion Ink Is Ahead of Schedule in the FCC Reviewing Process

Notion Ink Adam has been delayed quite a bit since they first said it will launch in June this year, and they've announed a couple of months ago that Adam will be released sometime before the end of this year.

The holiday season is going to be vital for Adam because they are a small noname company that probably doesn't have a lot of money to advertise their product, so selling it in the holiday season should be a big deal for them.

They've announced that the review process by the FCC will start a week earlier than scheduled, which should be a significant boost for their sales if they gain an extra week in December to sell their tablet.

They've also announced that they are going to have a replaceable battery, which is going to be a first among another tablets. This can be a big deal if you plan on having this tablet for more than 2 years or so when the battery is going to die on you, but the way technology evolves right now, 2 years is a lot of time between upgrading these type of devices.
